Nothing like eating fresh sushi! This place was nice and the service was pretty fast.

I ordered the salmon roll ($7) and spider roll ($11) which was $18. Pretty pricey for 2 rolls. My friend got the chicken yakisoba which was only $13 or $14.
However our waitress made a slight mistake by giving my the crunch roll instead of the spider roll but I didn't know it was the wrong roll. After eating it she said my spider roll was coming out because she gave me our neighboring tables' roll instead. It worked out for me though because I ate 3 rolls instead of 2. 3 rolls filled me up perfectly which goes to my point. It is a little expensive if you want to eat just sushi for your whole
Meal. If i actually ordered what I ate, it would have totaled in the high $20s. I would probably go to an AYCE place next time but it is nothing against the food. The sushi here was delicious. Just because it is a better price.

This place offers good sushi for being located in Chino Hills. They provide the normal selection of sushi and a ton of specialties too, but I would recommend Ojiya for quality.

It took awhile for our party to be seated when there were tons of empty tables. They had three waitresses and no bus boy. Maybe they should consider hiring someone to clean tables? A few parties left because they were unhappy about the wait.

We wanted to do omakase, but was told the bar was closed and it was offered on the weekdays? So, we ordered whatever that looked interesting and took the chef's specials.

Toro was delicious. Mizayaki A5 Wagyu was delicious. The sweet shrimp boats were delicious. The hokkaido scallop with foie gras was the best. Make sure to pair all of these with the wasabi radish!

Items that were okay and we probably wouldn't order again -- b j shooter, salmon sushi, spoonful of happiness.. and the uni. It wasn't live uni, so we settled for whatever they had.

My bf and I decided to try a new sushi place and came here Saturday night. When we came at about 7pm the restaurant was half full with plenty of seating left, the waitress had us wait 15 mins till we were finally seated.

My bf and I ordered 2 miso soups, 1 order of scallops sushi, smelt eggs sushi, ikura sushi, ono sushi, blue fin tuna sushi and yellowtail belly sushi; along with a salmon skin roll. We waited another 20 mins and our soups haven't even been given to us yet. We were finally able to flag down someone and our miso soups then came. I'm sure it doesn't not take that long for soup to come out especially when it's already pre made. We waited another additional 15-20 mins for our sushi to come out.

The quality of the food was great but wait time and service was horrible. Our water cups were empty and never refilled. I definitely will not be back here.

My boyfriend and I arrived on a Saturday night as soon as they opened for their dinner shift. It wasn't packed then so we got seated quickly. Drinks and menu were provided for us and we were attended to by our server Annette often.
I ordered the P/W Hand Roll, yellowtail, tuna, halibut, and Hokkaido scallop nigiri. I enjoyed the nigiris a lot. The tuna had a little fishy aftertaste, but it's expected. Everything tasted really good. One thing I noticed from their Signature Roll menu is that everything (and I mean, EVERYTHING) came with spicy tuna or shrimp tempura. I wish there was more variety. My boyfriend ordered the Spoonful of Happiness & uni sashimi and it came in a beautiful platter, with salmon roe and pickled wasabi on the side. It was fantastic. The uni was fresh and creamy.
One of the food runners/host gave us wasabi with pieces of glass in it. I accidentally took a bite of it and I'm just thankful that it didn't hurt me or that nobody else got those shards of glass. They comped our dessert as an apology, which I'm very grateful for.

Last time I was here at sushi 10 was 1yr ago. They have good sushi, but  their service never fails to just suck.  They have a big sushi bar that is always closed they only allow 10 people to sit around the sushi bar, but it allows for more.  Attitude-ie waitresses  and sushi chefs....
